what i want in and of a guy

i am often asked what i want in a guy. sometimes this question is simple, sometimes it's confusing and complex. some of my answers will always remain the same; such as masculinity, honesty, love, trust, and fidelity. some will change, tall with broad shoulders and a 32 to 34 inch waist, or maybe a guy a lot like me, a 30 inch waist with a light athletic build. sometimes i want a guy that can stand above me, be my knight in shining armour, be my hero. i want him to rescue me from danger. and sometimes i will be that hero. sometimes i want to have a guy just like me so we can share everything, a close bond forged such that steel itself would wilt and flex long before our strength ever began to fade.

one of the things that really turns me off, is someone that is focusing only on one part of me, usually my body, and ignoring the rest of me. another thing that turns me off in a really huge way is selfishness. i'm not a boyfriend that you take out of the closet and play with when you feel like it. i'm your partner every minute of the day. that doesn't mean i'm demanding, that means i'm solid. we are very much a part of each other's lives. if you only pay attention to your boyfriend when you feel like it, don't even consider me being yours. you're a sh*tty selfish person.

it's like this. you gotta put out the effort to take care of me when i'm in the dumps for whatever reason, regardless of how rare it happens. don't just say "get over it" and ignore me. i'll kick your lame a$$ to the curb so fast your balls will snap back like a rubber band.

all in all, as good as you treat me, i'll treat you just as good or better. i like making bag lunches for you. i like ironing your shirt for you. i like getting you a cool glass of water and wiping your forehead when you have a fever.

i love blue eyes and grey eyes the most, i can't help but be inextricably drawn to them. as if they pull me ever so gently like the kiss of a butterfly but with no less force than that of a black hole itself. eyes that draw me into his soul, full of love, strength, and the beauty of life. eyes that dance and tug at the lips, teasing the sweetest of smiles. a smile to warm any man's glance.
